Yurii Hnatkevych has been a nationalist since he was a child. He used to dream that #Ukraine would become independent from the Soviet Union, but he never thought it would actually happen.
He especially did not believe that he would vote for it himself as a member of parliament.
βI didn't believe it. I'm honestly telling you. None of the deputies believed that they would vote for the Declaration of Independence, and then for Independence itself," he told The #Counteroffensive.

Me, earlier this week:
I really need to go outside and take a walk, but I'm in a meeting with the customer, talking about solder terminations on a populated PCB, and I'm the subject matter expert, so they'd notice if I slipped out.
But if they ask me to explain one more time about the difference between cold solder and disturbed solder, I think I'm going to scream.
Weevils wobble but they don't fall down.

First documented example:
"Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?"
Stochastic terrorism is "the public demonization of a person or group resulting in the incitement of a violent act, which is statistically probable but whose specifics cannot be predicted." Donald Trump has been using social media to blast prosecutors, judges, and witnesses, and his followers have answered with calls for violence. If the ex-president is a stochastic terrorist, what should we do in response? https://thinkbigpicture.substack.com/p/donald-trump-stochastic-terrorist-threats
I'm lucky in that I was able to change at least a few things, by calling a meeting and starting out "We're in violation of contract because this new thing..."
People pay attention then, and they stop arguing.

I'm running into:
A task I've done a lot before, and I'm really good at it, but someone else changed things. What I used to do doesn't work anymore, and what I now have to do doesn't make sense. And there are parts of it I can't do - no access - so I have to rely on other people, and their ability to get it right.
I'm just about climbing the walls with frustration.

Maybe? I do. If something interests me, I want to know everything I can about it. Sometimes I drive people nuts with it.
Are all Autistics autodidacts? Is that just a thing we do?
You may find that what you're most upset about is just the top layer, and there's more under that. Whether there is or isn't, it's all right. Just take it one step at a time, and if you need to scream, vent, cry, or whatever, we're happy to be a sounding board.
I've seen that before, about the joint hypermobility, and until I read more, I had another Ah-ha! moment. joints are way more bendy than most people's - even young people, and I'm *not* young.
But they're not degenerating, don't give me pain, they just have a really big range of motion.
re: About deadnaming
I see a lot of people - people who know better - doing that with Caitlyn Jenner. Yes, she's a waste of potentially useful human tissue, and a waste of oxygen other people might be able to put to better use. She's still Caitlyn.
About deadnaming
Jaysus lads, I know some trans people are well known in public but please don't share their deadnames (especially not if you want to complain about the sharing of deadnames)
It feels like a punch to the stomach if you see your own deadname and ruins your day. Celebrities aren't immune.
Also don't share it even if the trans person is in your eyes a shitty person. You communicate at the same time to other trans people that you don't take them serious
