I love (actually hate) how folks are like "Oh, so many changes these days! All these words used to be okay, and now they aren't! So new!"
Those words were never "okay" they were coined by individuals and governments engaged in slavery and colonization. The words were racist back then, they didn't "become" racist between then and now just because you learned a fact.
GQP response: But what about Hunter Biden's dick pics?
Rep. Garcia called for an investigation into fraudster Jared Kushner to determine the circumstances behind a $2 billion pay out to Kushner from the Saudi Government just months after leaving the Trump White House.
The case for the investigation by stating that:
Kushner pushed his way into a job in his father-in-lawβs administration with no experience.
Kushner prioritized pushing out the Secretary of State in order to βcozy upβ to the Saudi Government.
There are records of a $110 billion arms deal between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia that was inflated at the direction of Kushner.
Months after Kushnerβs departure from the White House, the Saudi crown prince overruled his own investment advisors and sent $2 billion into Kushner's companies' bank account.

And the people who are just much too busy to be involved with all that political stuff.
He seems nice.

I'm not a fan for reasons of principle. Stores just put them in so they can lay off cashiers (or not hire enough to begin with) and that offends me. I won't use them unless there are no other registers open.

The screaming can be a bit much. Let me go quietly.
This whole internet thing is just a fad. People will get bored with it and go back to the tried and true means of communication.
Thank Saint Ronnie of Raygun:
"In 1980 Ronald Reagan was elected and promised to cut the top marginal tax rate. This he did, and the top marginal tax rate was lowered over his 8 years in office from 73% to 28%"
I do that with checklists - usually in a spreadsheet. Mark everything off, and that way I don't get things jumbled or forget something, and I know it's all taken care of when I see that "x" in the box next to the task.
Beware the dreaded "-" - that means it not only isn't done, there's a problem preventing it from being done.
Ah, OK. I also love the feel of a Cross 0.8mm ball point across paper. Not too scratchy, not too slippery - just right. I bought 2 pen bodies and 2 packs of refills, so I have it ready, at work or at home.
