And what do you mean by "anxiety"? Are you talking about the sharp, immediate "OMG, I screwed up" kind? Or the more formless, general "No matter how good things are now, something will go wrong, sometime and it will probably be my fault"?
I need specifics.
"Over the past few weeks, Ukraine came to us and asked for the authorization to use weapons that we're providing to defend against this aggression, including against Russian forces that are massing on the Russian side of the border and then attacking into Ukraine," says US Secretary of State Blinken in Prague. "That went right to the president and, as you've heard, he's approved the use of our weapons for that purpose."
I like presidents who aren't felons
President Biden recently gave the commencement address at West Point. His address was streamed and published.
What was not seen was that President Biden after giving his speech and shaking hands with the top 25 graduates on stage went backstage and beyond the reach of cameras, the media and video and greeted and shook hands with every one of the graduating class of West Point.

Yup, me too. But it has to be a song I know well, because if I can't remember the words that's just more frustration on top of what I'm already feeling.

That "imagine YOU in the hands of Joan Crawford" can be a little sinister if you imagine her with a wire hanger.
Statistics Denmark recently published a graph which shows, what consumers have felt for a long time: Wages rise, but the real income is falling.
In 2022, consumer prices rose so much, Danes got 5.1 percent poorer, and even though some wholesale prices started to fall in 2023, price hikes still consumed all wage increases in 2023, leading to a real income rise of 0 percent.
I wonder if larger countries are doing better because of stronger retail competition.

No, not in the USA. Most people I know are calling it "greedflation". Wholesale costs are stable or down, retail costs are way up, corporate profits are breaking records.

I'm facing a garage re-organization and felt the same way yesterday. Too much mess, too many things. Can't we just burn it down a build a new garage?
Hubs bought some tool organizers and swept the floor, and now I'm fine. In a few minutes I'll go out and sort the tools and put them in neatly labeled organizers, then start arranging the shelves. Problem sorted.
