@Ask_aubry I'm thinking this website is used exclusively by incels and 13 year old gaybies who still tell stories about their "Canadian girlfriend" to explain why they don't ask local girls out.
(Do little gay boys still do that, these days? It was very popular when I was 13.)

today's #cooking projects may include two firsts: homemade pigs in a blanket (with my own dough and everything) as well as airfried crabless crab rangoons (which is going to be filled with primarily just cream #cheese and i have zero problem with that).
this is of course another endeavor brought to you by the good people at Using Up Whatever Ingredients I Got In The Fridge and Hey What's This In My Cupboard.
Hi! And thanks for joining me on this wild ride.
My colleague Paul Farhi wrote up the news on journalists' Twitter suspensions last night: https://www.washingtonpost.com/media/2022/12/15/twitter-journalists-suspended-musk/
Twitter's owner joined us briefly on Twitter Spaces before vanishing into the night: https://twitter.com/ForeverEversley/status/1603612770892918784.
More news this morning from @rachellerman on the European Union's response: https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/12/16/musk-journalists-suspension-europe-backlash/
My last two Washington Post stories on Elon Musk before Twitter suspended me and other journalists discussed his flirtation with QAnon and the public data about his private jet:

my absolute favorite flat earth "explanation" for what really happened to the #dinosaurs.

Name: Scott
Pronouns: He/Him
Smile fact: After a lifetime of being a science fiction geek, I found a job that lets me routinely interact with NASA/ESA people, and things I've held in my hands are currently in space, doing science and helping us understand the universe. It can't get better than that, for me.
@aravosis
"You donβt get to skirt the legal immigration process simply because you want a job."
That's a very pencil-sketch description of what's happening. We're seeing the initial front of climate migration that's going to get significantly worse as the impact of climate change affects more regions. And we bear more than our share of blame for it - we have responsibilities.
@AnEnglishHuman@mstdn.party I'm reading the potato as sex, pastorally presented. Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqouUMUzFLc
@aravosis Liar, or flighty, or a fascist, like his best bud Thiel.
@ScottSoCal Another thing that I do is set up a separate "Home List" and switch back and forth between the standard Home screen or even have them both up at the same time as Pinned Lists. You can easily move folks on or off your home list whenever you want to clean up your incoming messages.
This helps me to be more engaged with my core group of folks that I like to carry on conversations with; and yet still keep in touch with everyone I'm following.
@Gleng2 That's a good idea - thank you. I'll give that a shot.
So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.
