If you ever see me at the grocery store handling kale, guaranteed it's just to get my fingers wet to open a plastic bag for something else.

If you're pulling 14,000 lbs., your range drops slightly, from 325 miles to 12.

Hey Mastodon! I need your help.

This is my favorite teapot. As you can see there is a problem with the handle. The straw ring on the right is frayed and near breaking. Where do I get a new one and how do I go about replacing it?

Please boost so I can find a solution!

You can buy shaved wicker (which I'm pretty sure is what the wrap is) and apply it yourself. You do have to soak it, so it's flexible, and then dry it in place, so it keeps shape, and the wrap has to include a knot. That one you can probably figure out by closely inspecting the one that isn't loose.

An Alzheimer's drug just received accelerated approval from the FDA

This is awesome.

Lecanemab, a monoclonal antibody, is *not a cure* but works by binding to amyloid beta, a hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease

It’s treating some effects of Alzheimer’s–not early mechanisms. However, this will buy patients time so it’s absolutely a cause to celebrate πŸŽ‰

@AlyAlyOutnFree Hello! I go by April or Kirby and use she/her pronouns. I like baking and improv and sketch comedy. I can write official looking documents for you. I really once said "These acquisition regulations are actually kind of interesting when you get into them."

And I really started getting into selfies about 9.5 months ago for some reason πŸ€”

@AlyAlyOutnFree Hi Alyssa, I am Joanne (she/her). A random thing about me is that I enjoy photography and I recently started infrared photography with full spectrum converted cameras. Perhaps I will post some in the future.
