It's that it highlights how the American right has successfully made Jan. 6 more palatable to the GOP and cast those involved as real victims.

Having flown for about 50 hours in the last couple of weeks, hopping on a short domestic fight this morning has left me with absolutely zero patience for people standing, mystified, before an overhead compartment, in sheer denial that their bags are too big to fit. Squinting and furrowing oneβs brow will not, in fact, suddenly make the bag fit, and enable everyone to keep boarding.
