The people who want to isolate and persecute trans people are either on the hard conservative right or are travelling that way and have zero problem being friends and allies of the hard right. They’ll happily sacrifice women’s and LGBT rights so long as they get to attack trans people.

@TonyStark I came with the "Great Migration" and I need this space to not be hostile. A lot of us feel like we are still healing from the awfulness. Had my first rude reaction to a thread I was on, first thought was to shred the guy, so easy to do, but I was calm and inclusive and the guy favorited my response.! Almost starting crying. Whether it's trying to engage, or blocking it's worth the effort here.

I was blown away by #GeorgeTakei’s powerful new musical #Allegiance.
It deals with the terrible treatment of Japanese Americans in the aftermath of Pearl Harbour, inspired by Takei’s childhood.
These uncomfortable stories are often airbrushed from history. George’s passion for correcting the record shines through. The show packs a hefty emotional punch and is brilliantly realised by a superb cast, incl. #TellyLeung and George himself.
Probably the best new musical I’ve seen in ages.
