MAGA Republicans are holding the economy hostage in order to force deeply unpopular cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and other key programs.

My son got in trouble at school because he left his classroom without permission, went all the way to the main office, & asked to speak directly to the Principal about an urgent matter. When asked what the urgent matter was, he responded, "I demand she form a school Science Club immediately."
Now I have to explain to him why he can't disappear like that while also saying good job for standing up for what he believes in.

There's some jazz (mostly older - 40s and 50s) that I really love. Some of the later, "experimental" jazz leaves me cold.
