I must say I find the general journalist reaction (especially in Europe) to Musk banning a bunch of journalists to be a bit disappointing

It's sort of "oooh look there's an attack on journalism, that's wrong, but we'll keep using Twitter because we think there's no other option"

No. A social network that can ban or censor at a whim *is a central challenge to fair reporting*

Help build up alternatives *without* that central flaw!

Truth

Is it me, or does it feel like all the Fortune 500 corporations are demanding that we head into recession? I mean, they raised the price of everything and that didn't do it. Now they're laying off 10's of thousands while huge profits roll in.

Friends are getting burned out because corp stopped hiring and the work is still there. They would rather tank the economy then pay their workers more. Yay! Unchecked capitalism. ​

I got a little overwhelmed when that ISS lunar transit went semi-viral.

This would lead to the absolute destruction of the GQP. Throw DeSantis in and whatever nutjob he would pick for VP and the circus will lead to a massive GQP dumpster fire. They think their base is the majority and it’s not, proven by Trump’s disastrous endorsements in 2022. I do believe some rabid cannibalism is about to ensue.
