Annoying birds 4. About to prune this bush to stop it poking me in the eye when I get into my truck and found myself eyeball to eyeball with this. Very small, I think a Zebra dove. Sitting on the flimsiest nest imaginable. I tried to get it to agree a deal: I leave it alone if it stops using my truck as a toilet. I indulge it. I do lock myself in my room, and play music that guts me, and cry, for as long as I need to. And then when I'm done I wash my face and go downstairs and get on with my day. Like an emotion enema.

OK, I get what you're after now. But I can't think of any practical aspect to it. I tend to think in terms of design or fabrication, and orthocenter just doesn't matter that way.
@ScottSoCal Your first sentence is true and complete as it stands, and I agree that that's how to compute a point that we subsequently call the ortho-centre.
But see my original post. It assigns a meaning to each of the in-centre, out-centre, and centroid.
So what does the ortho-centre mean? Which of these can be completed:
The Ortho-Centre minimises XXX
The Ortho-Centre maximises YYY
Does that make sense?
1) Right now I am warm and cozy in my bed
2) My belly is full enough that I am not hungry or thirsty
3) I am not alone in the bed and I am loved
4) The Chinese Spy Balloon is no longer taunting me

How about two sentences?
The orthocenter is the intersection of lines drawn at a right angle to each vertice into the triangle. The intersection can be inside or outside the triangle.

I don't think you can have a one sentence explanation of orthocenter. Because it isn't intuitively the center when it's hanging off the side, like it can.
