Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.

Forcing women to give birth against their will is βbig government.β Protecting an 88-year-old program like Social Security isnβt. Whether you agree with Biden on the fine points, itβs obvious that heβs trying to save rational, democratic government from the ongoing fascist assault. Thatβs why itβs so disheartening to see the Times adopt the cynical framing of the fascists, as this headline does.
There are some really kind people here, that constantly make me go to someone I love and say "look at what this person said about my song, that's so wonderful and kind..." and smile a lot. It's not an easy time for me, so I just want you all to know your support means a lot to me. Thank you β€οΈ
