Pretty surreal to have Zelensky arrive in the UK to talk about democracy and then have to meet the King, the House of Lords, and a Prime Minister without a mandate.
Maybe when the Ukrainians are done with the weapons they could give them to the British nurses and train drivers to help in their fight against tyranny.
I have to watch that now. I love Tig and Wilson, both.

From your lips to Cthulhu's ear flaps.
Anyway, now that a ton of journalists are flocking back to Mastodon... you should read my article about how all your articles about Mastodon "slumping" were bullshit. https://www.techdirt.com/2023/02/08/lazy-reporters-claiming-fediverse-is-slumping-despite-massive-increase-in-usage/

Why keep trying #Twitter and get disappointed each time when you have an amazing community right here waiting for you!
It's fine to be an abuse bottom. Don't kink shame.
.@KingJames, congratulations.
You broke a hallowed record and elevated the game forever. Keep it going and keep the faith.

NPR has been a hostage of the GQP for decades - starting back before Reagan. They scream about the "liberal slant" of NPR (reality has a well known liberal bias) and threaten to cut funding.
Is it any wonder there's a little Stockholm Syndrome going on?
NPR bears great responsibility for pushing the US into autocracy.
NPR has been unable to accurately convey, without bothsidesism, the dangers we face.
The effect is that NPR listeners are falsely reassuredβthey don't learn about how dangerous the moment is, how extreme conservatives have become. Because NPR doesn't state that clearly.
Related: A lot of NPR's income today comes from corporate ads.
