So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.

@ElDiabloRoboc I tend to draw the line in two places: First, is this horrible person even ALIVE anymore? If not, the harm you do by consuming their art is minimal. Second, how much actual power do they have towards implementing their horrible ideas through laws? People with both great wealth and connections can wield outsize influence and you should consider what contributing to them means.
To be sure, I want Meta to die.
I don't like it when people lose jobs, not one bit.
But I also think Meta is one of the most toxic and evil corporations to exist: one that has enabled genocides.
So I hope Meta keeps making this mistake, and Facebook, Instagram, etc. keep dying a slow death.
Trek couldn't be Trek without scientists on board. I'm not talking about Mr. Spock but the brilliant minds that brought real science to the Science Lab.
Trek Long Island is thrilled to welcome Mohamed Noor on May 20 and 21, 2023. Mohamed specializations include evolution, genetics, and genome evolution. You can find him listed on the end credits on Discovery S3 and S4!

But doctors don't visit dead people, so "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" is demonstrably true.
An apple a day is simply not enough food. Think again, doctors
And I've been let go.
So uh.

A 10KW system is bigger than most people get, but I'm installing in stages, and plan to switch to 2 EV small SUVs. I wanted something that could get us essentially grid independent, 24 hours a day.

US dollars. I'll get a $9k tax credit, so the actual end cost to me will be $21k.
Can we please settle this debate already? There is no labor shortage. There is a living wage shortage, a hazard pay shortage, a child care shortage, a paid sick leave shortage, and a health care shortage.

We just installed a 10KW system, and it generates power even when it rains, or is cloudy. $30K, installed, and our power bill has been 25% to 30% of what it normally is, even with holiday lights and lots more cloudy/rainy days than we're used to. The other day we had sun all day and it kicked out 40KWh.
@patrickworld @DrOinFLA @kevinrns I'm in western Washington state. Where it always rains π
So, more of a Rubik's Bouillon Cube.

This is so gross and scary. These people have been allowed to come out of the woodwork and they are now encouraged to carry guns.

And yet I still don't want anyone to smack my ass unless I invite them to.
Pauncho thinks I don't do housework right so he chips in to lick the cleaning spray off the fridge. I then have to rush to wipe it before he gets to it. It's now a smudgy mess.
