@carnage4life

It was at an altitude that posed a risk to commercial aircraft. It needed to be shot down, no matter who put it up there.

The real story behind all those UFOs the Air Force was shooting down last week is quite embarrassing.

I’m guessing someone at NORAD has now figured out why the sensitivity settings on the radar was turned down in the first place.

You can shit out whatever "nuanced" sophist apologias for #JKRowling you want but the most vile, demonstrably shit-hearted fascist scumbags in America agree with her and that's pretty much all anyone should need to know.

β€œAll good in the hood”

I continue repeating to myself as I pull my hoodie strings as tightly as possible while lying in a fetal position under the conference room table, counting down the minutes until this meeting is over.

@westly
Yeah, Uvalde set that particular little theme to rest.
You know, when they were standing outside the school, arresting and tasing parents who were trying to save their childrens' lives.

In America, they say the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

But that just sounds like someone trying to sell two guns.

I was checking out of a hotel and my wife criticized me for leaving a tip for the maid with a note that said β€œGracias.” She said it was very presumptuous and bigoted of me to assume that the maid was Spanish-speaking. She was not happy when I told her that I made the assumption because when I was banging the maid while my wife was in the hotel fitness room she kept screaming, β€œAy, Papi.”

CASHIER: That'll be $17.95.
ME: [pulls out a $50]
CASHIER: Sorry, we've been having problems with counterfeit money. Have anything smaller?
ME: Sure [pulls out a $30]

I sometimes think about guitar lessons, but then I think "old dog/new tricks" and put it out of my mind.

My small and humble spot in the big universe. Thanks, Sun, for your shine these days πŸ™πŸ½

Federal HIPAA law (or, if you're an anti-vaxer, HIPPO) supersedes state law. Medical records are private, period.

β€œRepublicans introduce a trojan horse bill to create a public record of every abortion in Montana.β€œ

I’ve been shouting this for years, now it’s more and more direct: #AbortionIsAPrivacyIssue #AbortionIsAPrivacyLawIssue #MedicalPrivacy #AbortionIsHealthcare

Not just the mother, but the father too.

@KimPerales

Haven't you heard? Gun laws don't work. They seem to be the only laws that don't, since Republicans are eagerly passing abortion restriction, education restriction, and medical restriction laws, but gun laws just won't make any difference at all. Because reasons.

Republicans gladly hold their base by furthering gun violence with their policies & laws -resp. for incomprehensible suffering & deaths: HighestπŸ”«violence: mainly in🩸states.: In the past 6 decades, TX has experienced at least 19 mass shootings that've killed a total of nearly 200 & wounded >230. Yet state leaders have repeatedly batted away measures that'd limit access to guns -instead eased restrictions on publicly carrying +making it harder for local govts to reg. them-: propublica.org/article/mass-sh

This is dreadfully sad but also proof that actual badass courageous journalism still lives in the harshest places:

"Had I committed a real crime then it would be possible to ask for leniency, but again, due to my moral and ethical qualities, I would not do this. ... No totalitarian regime has ever been as strong as before its collapse."
