Michigan has just officially repealed its so-called "right to work" law, making it the first state in nearly 60 years to ditch one of these anti-union laws.
This is a huge win for working people.

I have a friend in another place who is going through the same thing. She had it beat once, and now it's back - but she beat it the first time, she's strong, she knows how to handle the side effects, and she's not going to let it beat her this time.
Same can be said for you - you've got this.

I've been remiss. Here's my introduction post.
Old hippie raised in #SoCal w/six siblings, none of whom are full sibs. Also lived in #Maine, #Colorado, #Iowa, #Wisconsin. Went to 12 schools in 12 years. Had many jobs -- from building boats to making screws (really), from retail to short order cook, from newspaper editor to magazine publisher, from freelance writer to photographer.
I prefer retirement.
I swear a lot, so fucking get over it. Always been a liberal & atheist.
Glad to be here.
I don't know. There are two flocks of crows around my house that my parrot loves to call to, and she's thrilled when they call back.
Well THAT just backfired on Republicans. Again. https://youtu.be/U1vJU_702QQ
I've been claimed by a crow, in my office at work. He shows up and lets me know when it's time to leave nuts on the windowsill outside.
Always so formal.
Mr. Crow is marching past the house; I almost expected a top hat and cane. π©
This is an American crow, and they are fascinating. But beware, I've read that crows can recognize faces and can hold a grudge.
"Crows sometimes make and use tools. Examples include a captive crow using a cup to carry water over to a bowl of dry mash; shaping a piece of wood and then sticking it into a hole in a fence post in search of food; and breaking off pieces of pine cone to drop on tree climbers near a nest." - allaboutbirds.org

No. You canβt talk about menstrual cycles. But. Hey. We promise this bill isnβt trying to punish little girls.
I guess menstruation is woke now. π Personally, if I lived in FL, which thank fu%^ I donβt, Iβd introduce legislation to stop letting all these boards and subcommittees use βEducationβ in their titles. Because nothing could be further from the truth. Florida is a total sh^% show and this is disgusting.
