Not madcap hijinks, I'm guessing?
How do you define "small" panels?
I have a fold-up panel I keep in my earthquake kit (California, and all that) that puts out enough power to charge my laptop and phones. That would easily power the Raspberry and charge the batteries during the day, so it could run from the batteries at night when the panel isn't generating. It would need to be in direct sun during the day, but yes, it would absolutely be do-able, with the right setup.

Today, wind and solar electricity exceeded national electricity demand in the Netherlands from around 11 am to 4 pm, leading to significant exports!

Since 01-Feb of this year, there have only been 6 days when my solar didn't produce more power - most days significantly more (up to 2x) - than my house uses in a 24 hour period. I have so got to get batteries installed, to store some of that up.

It discusses it quite a bit. The mental cost of worrying about it, the time spent having to bargain shop for everything, the increased cost due to driving to multiple stores to buy things. It adds up. I didn't see it until it was pointed out to me, because I'm largely insulated from it.
Good article in WaPo that explains something I've struggled to understand - why are people in the US so pessimistic about the economy when indicators show strength? Turns out it just takes some perspective.
I'm a DINK household - dual income/no kids. I own my house, so my housing costs are stable - and about half what I'd pay as a renter. I could afford solar, to drastically reduce my utility costs, just before food costs went up. I'm not representative.

Today, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Russia asked how much more resources the country would have for a potential war against Ukraine. Unfortunately, the GUR and Lithuanian military intelligence both believe that Russia would only have enough resources for two years of such a war. The military also believes that they could fight until 2023 or 2024 at the latest, assuming it is a conventional war. If sanctions are tightened, this reserve would be even smaller. European countries are already considering tightening sanctions due to Russia's transfer of Iskanders to Belarus, which could potentially include tactical nuclear missiles. In response to the question of whether the occupiers have a shortage of missiles, it appears that surface launchers have been brought to their basing points, but they are not equipped. Submarine missile carriers are still in place, which is why the missile threat is still considered high. Russians have a large stockpile of bombs which they are converting to guided bombs to imitate missiles. Ukraine has experience in shooting down such bombs, and it is important to shoot down the aircraft themselves in order to counter the occupiers' methods. It is also important to listen to alarms when there are submarine missile carriers at sea, as they can launch missiles all over Ukraine.
Kudos to Barnes & Noble for prominently displaying, in its #Florida stores, books which #RonDerSantis wants to ban in public schools.

And yet they keep referring to his attempts to subvert the government to benefit himself and his cronies as "reforms".
Mainstream media needs to realize that protecting Benjamin Netanyahu will never make for the past and how they ignored the holocaust while it was going on.
What is going on in #Israel is a desperate attempt to subvert the judicial system in order to avoid going to prison.
Seems familiar? Cause it is the same issue in #USA with #traitortrump .
