Peter Beinart is absolutely right. One of the biggest reasons the political left is weak in the US is that many of us on the left choose to tear away at each other across lines that divide us, rather than making common cause and turning our critical focus towards those who really deserve that focus, those setting us against each other from the top of the economic ladder.
The lack of solidarity of many on the left in US, and the insistence on purism tests: so politically dumb.

@DaveMWilburn It infuriates me just seeing people refer to Russia-Ukraine War as βcrisisβ or βconflictβ. Itβs hard to view it as anything other than a transparent attempt to downplay the deaths and suffering of tens of thousands.
