You're doing the fascist's work for them; attack the argument at the source - WHY is it okay to imply a whole subset of society EXISTING harms CHILDREN?

For the longest time #photography was my only creative outlet. Often I was stuck taking pictures at noon during lunch. Noontime light is far from ideal. But this swallowtail #butterfly landed on a #purple #thistle in perfect bloom. It was one of those moments that makes a photographer smile. How often does nature present us with a scene of vivid complimentary colors? I have a stack of these photos. Every one of them is gorgeous because of the subject. ❤️🦋

@hannu_ikonen I was young during the Reagan years. I remember lots of folks being angry, but didn’t understand why. Looking back, I’m stunned how he started things that would destroy this country and turn it into the current vampire capitalism hellscape. In many ways, he was worse than Trump.

I’m not getting more conservative as I get older, like the GOP thinks we will… I’m now all ‘seize the means of production, comrades!! Smash fascism, smash racism, smash capitalism!!’ 😡👊

Sometimes I like to watch old interviews with musicians.

Often I’m surprised by how different my perception of them is compared to the reality. I’m sure to a large degree that’s an intentional curation, making gods out of men.

I was just 13 when Kurt Cobain died in 1994, so at 27 years old he just looked like a grown ass man to me.

Watching his interviews now, he looked so young and even childish. Not a bad thing, just a reflection on how our perceptions can change as we age.

I wanted to get a look at the feathers on the brown pigeon that's been coming around. So I sat outside and waited for the pigeons to fly to the bird feeders and finally got a couple pictures. I chose this one because at least you cans see its head.

The thing that I notice, right of the bat, is the tail feathers. When the feathers are fanned out, there is a gap with one feather in the middle. I haven't noticed this with other pigeons. Usually, when the tail is fanned out there is an arc of feathers. So ... it makes me wonder why. Did the pigeon lose those feathers or is it just the way they are?

For example, the autistic tests ask whether you copy characters on TV, to know how to socialise. That’s autistic scripting. I thought I didn’t script, because I didn’t copy TV characters.

But by interacting with other autistic people I realised that scripting is so much more than that. That thing where I rehearse interactions with people beforehand? That’s scripting. Or where I quietly rehearse a phone call before I make it? Scripting.

On reddit, there’s r/autisminwomen.com which despite its name is not just for cis women, but open to trans and nonbinary as well. r/autism is also good, although there are some gatekeepers who disparage self diagnosis, so be aware.
