I have an unconfirmed story for why the parking lot of an abandoned building near my work is filled with Teslas, from someone who was moving one of them and says he works for the local Tesla sales dealer.
They removed most of the cars they had in stock and are telling prospective buyers they should buy now, because supply is very low. Artificial scarcity, to increase demand.

The optimal move for every government agency, every celebrity, every nonprofit, is to loudly quit Twitter and announce everywhere they can, as often as they can, that they have done so--and, particularly, that anyone on Twitter representing themselves *as* them is an impostor.
It won't stop the disinfo, but it will slow it down. To do otherwise is to make the problem much worse.
