I'm living in Ventura County - north of LA, but not as far north as Santa Barbara. I still like to get up there when I can, but the entry price for a house up there is over a million dollars. Way too freaking expensive to live there, these days.
Imagine convincing yourself that children being taught about their rights, about the True History of the USA, and about not hating others for being different, is somehow a greater threat to their safety, well-being than being traumatized by active shooter drills every month, or being slaughtered by assault rifles while they sit in their classrooms. #RepublicanPriorities

Quiet inlet of water, oil painting. I just returned from a visit with my dentist. Evidently the tooth pain I've been feeling is because I've been clenching my jaw. I guess the good news is I don't need a root canal, just better ways to relax. This painting is tranquility on a canvas for me.
