They don't think about that. My car is a hybrid, braking slowly charges the battery and lets me drive longer on electric power without burning any gas. So go ahead, get to that red light before I do. I'll adapt.

As normal rush hour traffic would rubberband from 60 to 0 to 60, I would just set my cruise at 35-40. Since it was single lane, wasn't a worry of ppl continuing to cut in front.
Holy Smoky were ppl pissed off. I'm like you can *see* the stopped traffic up ahead right? Im literally saving you gas (and brake wear)!

I always get a chuckle from the people who race around me so they can get to the red light 1.5 seconds before I do.
