I have two crows who visit my office and knock on the window, to let me know it's time to put nuts on the sill outside.
MAGAs praised the expulsion of Dem TN lawmakers for βlack of decorumβ after they loudly protested the murder of children at a Christian schoolβ& now after subsequent protests in response to subsequent mass shootingsβMAGAs claim Dems didnβt protest loudly enough when children were murdered at a Christian school.π€
This is what it looks like when MAGAs politicize the murder of innocent children for cheap political points, rather than activate & demand justice to ensure children donβt die in vain.
The #txlege is trying to sneak in voucher bill #SB8 Mon after attempts to move it without a hearing were shot down. This time, they've added measures for more high-stake testing. This is what is at stake: @TexasObserver https://www.texasobserver.org/voucher-program-arizona-privitization-public-schools-disabilities/
Over on #birdsite, the hate group American College of Pediatricians claims they have been subject to a cyberattack when actually they just left 10,000 private files in a completely unsecured Google Drive. Aka they cyberattacked themselves: https://nitter.nl/ACPeds/status/1656630733966909441#m

I've watched it from the beginning, and I enjoy it, but hubs refuses to watch it - he says it feels exploitive. I understand why he feels that way.
It is a gimmick, with an overly-broad paintbrush, but just as I identified with The Doctor and Seven of Nine trying to figure out their humanity on Voyager, there are aspects of Sean Murphy figuring out how to "people" well that I relate to.
now feeling totally justified in never having seen this damn show https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/2023/05/11/good-doctor-memes-autism/ @actuallyautistic #actuallyautistic

I talk to my dogs, and my parrot, sometimes in English, sometimes in canine/whistling. It's 50/50 which is more effective.
The parrot clearly understands intent, if not every word.
"You want to go upstairs and get some sleep?" A beak bump is yes, preening is no. When I head indoors, she anticipates the direction, with her wings spread and an occasional flap, until we're at her sleep closet door.

Oh yeah, totally. Itβs part of our egalitarian approach to status and hierarchy. Crows and dogs and cats and chickens are all people who just donβt speak our language, and afaict they usually appreciate our lame attempts to speak theirs.
Or as in your example, to speak ours at them unfiltered and vice versa, like Han Soloβs bilingual conversations with Chewbacca or Greedo or Jabba.
I don't know if we need AI to filter us out of the universe - distributed mobs of psychopaths will stop us long before artificial sentience emerges.

Wagner Founder Prigozhin:
"The flanks are crumbling. The front is failing. Everything is going on in a global tragedy for Russia."
βͺοΈThere was a flight of units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation from the flanks.
βͺοΈToday alone we lost an area of 5 sq. km.

If I bought the leader of Wagner Group this t-shirt, do you think he'd wear it?
I nominate Stella Mudd (estranged wife of Harcourt Fenton Mudd) as the new #Twitter CEO.

Yes, and this is her husband, Marcus. Not Mark, or even Marc, but Marcus. He runs a "pray away the gay" center. Can you imagine?
oh wow... it's still there β€οΈ
