@ScottSoCal @AnotherDayInHell my joke last week is that FL is going to let barbers practice medicine again, with leeches and bleeding.

I feel like the helping professional communities have long tip-toed around not pissing off religion. They remain ever neutral and egalitarian and milquetoast about the harmful effects of religion. This needs to stop, because the most vocal religions around here are certainly not gentle on their attitudes towards the mental health profession OR sex positivity. #ReligiousTrauma #exmo #Exmormon #exvangelical

Be very, very careful of any group deliberately using dehumanizing language. Because eventually, when they do finally come for you and everyone you've ever loved...
They won't say they hate you.
—They won't have to say anything at all.

I wonder how much longer we have as society before general understanding of basic science has devolved back to reading entrails and burning witches?
