I don't know why conservative Christians, who believe they are literally consuming the body of their God every Sunday through transubstantiation, believe its incredulous and 'ideology' for trans people to be born in the wrong body. They literally think wheat turns into flesh.

I got asked in my #DeepWork session what I would do to “be more intentional” this week. I answered honestly, that I couldn’t care less about it, I have three days off this week and it’s Christmas week next week, so I refuse to “get intentional” over work!

This year, I went to Haida Gwaii (BC) to perform. I met Alison Keery, who told me she teaches dance at Haida Gwaii schools. That led to an instant friendship. We visited the iconic Balance Rock, where we mixed Highland and Bhangra dances to build cross-cultural bridges and give hope.

There are many people struggling at this time. It is always worth remembering and being mindful of that. Christmas has become such a consumer materialistic endeavour. Too many people will go into debt to buy things that people do not really need.

Maybe it’s time to celebrate Christmas with good food, good company and joy. That is what Christmas should be about. Not unnecessary gifts.

I like people who take a knee to protest injustice, rather than those who want to shred the Constitution.
