Taliban banning women from going to school has nothing to do with Islam. (Even in Saudi women have been attending college for decades.) It's 100% about controlling women the same way GOP banning reproductive freedom in US is not about Christianity, it's about controlling women (FYI no Muslim country, except for the Taliban regime, has banned girls from getting an education. What the Taliban is doing is an insult to the principles of Islam!!)

I love how many folks here that society stigmatizes and rejects are on here finding community and celebrating each other. I dig it. Still dipping my toe in the waters for safety before I share fully me, but so far so good.
