Had a dream last night that I met Hugh Grant on Grafton St and I persuaded him to make a film just about Benoit Blanc and his sourdough baking husband.

Do you know who Cheryl Johnson is? You should. Ms. Johnson is the Clerk of the Speaker of the House of Representatives. In lieu of an elected Speaker of the House, she is in charge. This is the first time a black woman has been the presiding officer of the U.S. House of Representatives. Let's hope it takes two years for the Republicans to pick their 'speaker'.

I sent my child to university in Japan and she came home HEAVILY addicted to reliable public transportation.

Populism coupled with increasing assaults on scientific integrity have dramatically shifted the political landscape & contributed to geopolitical instability.

The policy ramifications are yet to be understood, but anti-intellectualism has threatened public health, stymied environmental progress, influenced funding priorities & sculpted the rhetoric of local, state & national politics.
