I work remote, so I spend most of my workdays in pajamas because most of our zoom meetings are just audio, but every so often I will put on a nice outfit and do my hair and makeup even if it’s not a video meeting just because I want to be the only person to turn on their camera looking totes business profesh so it will then make all of my coworkers panic and scramble to make themselves look presentable before turning on their own cameras.

Lots and lots of rich people inherit wealth and use it to make "big-bet" investments in things, funneling wealth into their hobbies or interests.

Rich people can afford to do that because if these bets fail, they'll be fine. It's easy to hit in roulette when you get to play multiple times, less so when it's your life savings at stake.
