A new instance so I'd better do a new #introduction

I'm a photographer based in the south west of England. My practice focuses around landscapes with a particular emphasis on a sense of place and loss of identity.

Before all this I was an aid worker working in areas of conflict for about 20 years.

I'm generally interested in most art forms, literature, history and tech (though I have no understanding of the subject). I run, trek and wild camp.

We got really good news at work today about a project that I worked really hard to complete during much of last year.

Seeing as how I have in the past spent days beating myself up for failures, I think I deserve to take at least a few hours today to bask in the warm glow of success.
