Czech volunteers from the Gift for Putin initiative have raised 30 million CZK (1.2 million euros), which is more than the price of an RM-70 MLRS, to buy the rocket launcher for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The volunteers are now aiming to raise an additional 20 million CZK to purchase ammunition for the MLRS.

I have been trying to come to terms with the fact that my nice, comfortable adulthood that I scraped and clawed to arrange for myself after a disaster childhood is just not going to happen - we are at war against fascists, like the whole world is from time to time.

I'm going to count myself fortunate that I'm not one of the people with their heads in the sand, and be grateful that I won't have to look back at this wartime and say "Oops, I should have done more!"
