So about 2.5 years ago I started putting Balsamic vinegar on my pizza, when I suddenly realized that pizza is just a giant soft bruschetta.

Last year I started putting it on my pasta, too. Holy shit, y'all.

I tell you what you do: Get yourself a nice balsamic vinegar (or honestly even a not-great one that you can decant and let breathe for a while; does wonders), and then you put it on ALL the tomato-based Italian foods you eat, and then you come back and thank me later.

(I prefer a fig balsamic myself; delicious.)

That time on Sunday morning when it’s still quiet in the house, my dog’s sitting quietly at the foot of my bed after some good pre morning snuggles, the bed’s so comfortable and cozy, and my tiredness feels really good and even yummy somehow. Storms softly rumbling in the distance. Looking forward soon to delicious pancakes with maple syrup, good coffee, and good company. That time, is a good time.
