President of #Ukraine and the Prime Minister of #Poland in Warsaw signed a Letter of Intent to cooperate on the supply of defense equipment

The purpose is to ensure constant support and strengthening of the defense capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the acquisition by Ukraine of Polish defense equipment, in particular Rosomak armored personnel carriers, Rak self-propelled mortars and missiles for Piorun man-portable air-defense systems.

We’ve got most of the same underlying issues of modern democracy yet to be solved over here as well (money in politics, no ranked-choice voting, billionaires, overconsumption..), but at least we’re long past debating whether or not the job of the state is to keep its citizens educated, healthy and safe.

Let's be clear what just happened. Elon Musk apparently was unhappy about at least one NPR story. So he arbitrarily slapped NPR with the "state affiliated media" label usually reserved for propaganda outlets under government editorial control like Russia's RT and the Chinese Communist Party newspaper. NPR only gets a tiny percentage of its funding from the government, which conservatives have long been trying to zero out completely. Voice of America, BBC, and "Stars and Stripes" are not so designated, despite being under government editorial control.

Worse, Elon *retroactively* moved after the fact to specifically remove NPR from the section of Twitter policy that explained that outlets like BBC and NPR were not considered to be government-affiliated media.

He continues to respond to official queries with a poop emoji.

No media organization or advertiser is safe dealing with him. Nor is the U.S. government. End these relationships as quickly as practicable, before you regret being in bed with his twisted sensibilities.

Just a brief reminder for those who are looking into autism-related resources that Autism $peaks is not to be trusted. Their whole philosophy is one of trying to "cure" autism, and "correct" autistic children who behave in any neurodiverse way.

Instead, look at resources like ASAN (Autism Self-Advocacy Network) or similar organizations that work to *advocate* for autistic individuals, rather than make people *aware* of them.
