Since we're on the subject: a quick basic primer on light leaks in film photography! ✨

Light leaks happen in film photography when light gets in where it shouldn't - this can happen when loading & unloading film, if you mistakenly open the back of the camera mid-roll (we've all done it!), or sometimes just where an old camera has dodgy light seals and it leaks in around the joins in the camera.

Someone said the park/playground where Tamir was playing was in a bad neighborhood; another said the kid was 5'7" tall. (I guess they never heard of growth spurts among 8th graders.) There was no scrutiny aimed at the police officer in question, who washed out of the academy at a small-town police force before joining the Cleveland police force.
