So excited about this "immersive experience" I'm doing for the next five days! I'll be playing the role of an "office worker" I get to wear a "business casual" costume, lol, it's so dorky!! and they even gave me a little badge to get into the building!!! Wish me luck!

Hey people of Mastodon! And especially anyone who likes the stuff I make (thank you, love you). I'm feeling well after nearly 2 weeks of being bed ridden, so I'm getting back to being artistically active in music, film, poetry and jewellery making and getting back to engaging here with all of you wonderful persons behind the screens. I hit a block and couldn't continue. Every time I tried, one of two different things came into my head. Things that will happen, but I haven't gotten to that part of the book yet. No matter what I tried, that's where my head went. So I opened two new files and wrote those sections. One that will happen in a garden, and one that will happen on a drive home from the airport.
Both may need to be rewritten when I get there, but they're out now, and not blocking me.

Five months ago, before she died, my 91-year-old great-grandmother described to me how, while her mother was taken to the gas chambers by the Nazis, she asked her mother, "Where are you going?" and "When are you coming back?" She never saw her mother again. I was literally shaking while I was listening.
