Now, every time he goes outside to use the potty (we have a doggy door and fenced-in yard), he races inside to the love seat nearest the kitchen for his treat. It's adorable to watch. Smiling and wagging that bushy tail.

He is very happy, and with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement, nothing punative, he finally potty trained. That's probably why he was so abused. Sadly, many people don't know how to gently train a resistant puppy.

They fixed it.

My last interaction with them was to tell them that the bug is back and that maybe they should ask their engineers if they've ever heard of "regression testing."

(For those who don't know: regression testing is a way to make sure that bugs that have been fixed don't come back.)
