@ScottSoCal In terms of resources needed, PHEVs are better than BEVs. We should have pushed them much harder a decade ago. Now we're out of time.

If you are a white leftist and you talk β€œboth parties are the same they are both capitalist” you will loose most of your black audience. I think it ought to be obvious that this isn’t because blackfolks love Democrats (in most cases, there is always someone being simple in any group) β€”no. it’s because the difference between the parties is material and obvious and these are unstable times.

When I hear such talk I wonder if the speaker is working on voter suppression.

I reminded her that *all* cars are getting bigger and heavier. So many people drive an SUV or a full-size truck, both of which just keep getting bigger and heavier every year. If people are concerned about cars being to heavy and dangerous, then let's make some regulations about *all cars* instead of just hand wringing about them new fangled EVs.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) uncovered a Kyiv-based IT company that attempted to illegally transfer confidential information from the electronic systems of the frontline OVA to representatives of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) terrorist organization. The investigation revealed that the company had granted access to the databases to its colleagues from the temporarily occupied part of the region, who were posing as employees of the company's Donetsk branch. If successful, the offenders would have been able to regularly leak information from the OVA. The perpetrators of this crime face up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The Ukrainian kickboxing champion Maksym Bordus tragically passed away in the war on June 11, as reported by the Sports Committee of Ukraine Angels of Sport. He was killed by an enemy shell during intense fighting against Russian invaders. Eternal memory and glory to the Hero!

Anti-trans bills across the country have the ability to negatively affect nearly every facet of trans and nonbinary people’s lives, from free speech to health care access to protections against discrimination, to name a few.

But I feel exactly the same way about the ads observation. Seems I can just think of or imagine a thing and it's suddenly all over my online activity? Scary!

Now, every time he goes outside to use the potty (we have a doggy door and fenced-in yard), he races inside to the love seat nearest the kitchen for his treat. It's adorable to watch. Smiling and wagging that bushy tail.

U.S. Same-Sex Marriage Support Holds at 71% High - Sometimes it still astounds me how far we’ve come in terms of marriage equality. Did I ever mention how, when I was 18 and in the Army, I applied to the Space Shuttle program on a dare because I knew I didn't qualify and my sergeant major "made some phone calls" and got me a waiver?
