My actual #trans agenda.

I want trans people to thrive.

I want trans kids to grow into trans adults.

I want us to feel safe at work, at home, and in our communities.

Look, we tried trickle-down economics for forty years. It simply didn’t work. The national debt exploded and nothing trickled-down, so now we move on.

Stimulating the economy from the bottom up is clearly more effective. A rising tide should life all boats, not just yachts.

Fellow Black people - I know that in light of the #jacksonville killing, some people booed the white suprem-, er, Intellectually Diverse™ governor DeSantis of Florida, given his vocal and political support of white nationalism. However, as a Black community, we have to remember that protesting violent white supremacy sometimes makes white people feel sad! And angry! And isn't that really a kind of racism in itself, if you think about it?

Anyway, I'm happy to draw your attention to this helpful book, collecting all the wisdom of white Controversial Thinkers® like DeSantis and all those other bitch-faces about the best way to protest against racism. Compromise!

OTD, Aug 28, 1955, white supremacists kidnapped, tortured, & murdered 14-year-old Emmett Till. Carolyn Bryant—the woman who knowingly falsely accused him—just passed. The warrant for her arrest ignored, she lived free.

Emmett isn't ancient history—he's contemporary reality.

The day @KevBot and I both became “fully vaxxed” in May of 2021, we went out to this restaurant with a patio for our first public dining experience in over a year.

It was cold AF but we were just happy to be “free” and we took a photo of each other to commemorate the moment.

This resulted in us starting a tradition of taking photos wherever we’d go and I kept compiling them into 9x9 grids until I got up to 144 photos and was finally like okay, Alice, that’s enough.

I realize it’s ridiculously excessive, but we’d spent the prior year not even knowing if we’d ever be able to go to a restaurant again and we didn’t know how long it was going to last, so we were just trying to take advantage of it while we could.
