And another headline, this one from Huffington Post right now:
@mastodonmigration WaPo was definitely worse in my opinion, especially the one that tries to paint it as something Harris has to deal with. Itβs something Trump did that will damage him in this election and that should be the coverage.
I am tired of saying it but the Washington Post should not be relied on for political news or information. A couple of good articles here and there arenβt enough.
There are MILLIONS of Americans living abroad. We need to find them and get them voting. Only about 9% of #USExpats #vote, usually because they donβt know they can.
Help us to get the word out!

Did social media fan the flames of the Southport riot? π€π₯ In the wake of a tragic attack, misinformation spread rapidly on X, leading to unrest fueled by anti-immigrant sentiments. π«π As communities grieve, we must question the role of online platforms in escalating tensions. #Southport #SocialMedia #Misinformation #Riot #Community For more details:
"Ukraine is fighting for itself, for survival. And if the whole world thought the way we do, I'm sure we would have already stopped the russians. If we didn't have half-sanctions and half-solutions, we would have already stopped putin. Of course, they stopped.
The world is much stronger, the world is much bigger, much more powerful, principled, economically stronger. But semi-sanctions. Everything is "half"."

#FauxNews host #JesseWatters told his male viewers that if they vote for a #woman, they have "mommy issues."
then even more ludicrously #Watters said:
βI heard the scientists say the other day that when a man votes for a woman, he actually transitions into a woman."

That was a hell of a thing.
I now adore #RachelScott of #ABC even more.
This is how every #Trump interview & debate should be conducted.
After he took his seat, #ABCNewsβ Rachel Scott asked, βI want to start by addressing the elephant in the room, sir. A lot of people did not think it was appropriate for you to be here today.β
She cited numerous false claims Trump made about #Obama & #NikkiHaley, along w/other remarks attacking Black figures & people of color.

4. JD Vance is ONE OF THEM. Vance was literally put on Trump's ticket by the same group of people - Peter Thiel, David Sacks, Elon Musk, Marc Andreessen - who are behind all of the weirdness I've been writing about. https://newrepublic.com/article/183971/jd-vance-weird-terrifying-techno-authoritarian-ideas
My opinion of Biden is that he was a good president, and able to beat Trump again... However, his great age was a concern, and then he had a terrible debate - which boded ill - then caught covid, and in the end I had to concede that he was right to pass the torch. Is that ageism, or just realism? Trump's age is an issue too, because it informs his warped mindset, he's probably suffering dementia, so that's absolutely an issue, but he could still win. We needed a Kamala to mix things up a bit, and inject some fresh energy, which happily contrasts with old man Trump.
