It feels like maybe the public in general is kind of over #Shitposting #Trolling and #Abuse.

Musk seems increasingly desperate to post something so outrageous that it will drive people to engage on the platform. More and more people are starting to recognize what's happening and not playing that game. Or maybe that's just me being hopeful...

There are many people struggling at this time. It is always worth remembering and being mindful of that. Christmas has become such a consumer materialistic endeavour. Too many people will go into debt to buy things that people do not really need.

Maybe it’s time to celebrate Christmas with good food, good company and joy. That is what Christmas should be about. Not unnecessary gifts.

I like people who take a knee to protest injustice, rather than those who want to shred the Constitution.

@QasimRashid the "Happy Holidays" was a trend to help non-christians feel welcome and included in the Christmas spirit like every Christmas special claims is a major point of the holiday. It was instantly shouted down by evangelical Christians and supremacists who wanted to draw very clear lines of who is not welcome and Fox uses the "war" to pull the battle in every year and push more "others" out

Case in point. I'm Muslim. It doesn't offend me when people wish me Merry Christmas. Offensive is when MAGA politicians brandish weapons of war while kids are shot dead in school and claim that's the Christmas spirit.

A relative of mine, at least we think of him as such.

Fell down in the care home he lives at and couldn't get back up, he's only in his early 50s and in general is quite healthy. He's slightly intellectually disabled.

He was taken to hospital where they found he has covid.

He was able to ring my cousin, but his speech was slurred.

A Nurse told my Cousin that "It's not looking good".

I don't know much more than that.
