Do you think #FalunGong is a #cult or #religion?

Have you heard of it? What do you think?

What about the #EpochTimes #newspaper or #ShenYun dance performance?

Same group.

The same organization #FalunGong owns both. The Epoch Times is their #propaganda arm and Shen Yun is the PR cash cow.

They use it to proclaim how awesome China was before #communism and make money. They intentionally keep it distanced from the organization.

Wife: Can you make me some ice cream?

Me: You mean, can you make me some ice cream oh godlike piece of man meat?

Wife: nvm I'll just have some fish.

The pass tracking feature on cbs replay is cool but it looks like a feces contrail. #NFL

Wanted to share some unfortunate news with the #FriendsOfDeSoto . Annie Wersching, Nana Borgs from #StarTrek #Picard to #GreatestTrek viewers, has passed away from cancer at the untimely age of 45. She leaves behind her husband and three young sons. #RIPAnnieWersching

Very sad to hear about the passing of Annie Wersching. Her portrayal of the Borg Queen in PIC Season 2 was one of the highlights of that season.

“This deeply moving musical had me cheering through my tears…there is joy, playfulness and romance as the human spirit endures….The score is gorgeous, filled with tenderness, power and passion. The entire cast is excellent.”

— Sunday Express & Sunday Mirror

just found out my husband uses my email address when he signs up for things online. he’s officially outside my circle of trust.

“Police officers are not Navy Seals, Army Rangers or Marines. They do not have the training, leadership, traditions, ethics and discipline of the US Armed Forces, let alone the most elite combat units. The militarization of American policing has been a disaster.”

Yesterday I continued rewatching Season 3 of Star Trek The Next Generation by watching 'The Offspring'. This episode was aired in 1990 and was ahead of its time in some of the current issues it explores. I found the episode covered issues relevant to today including gender identity, autism, parenting and artificial intelligence. This is a 12 part thread and please Boost. [1/12]

What’s your #FavoriteSong and why? I know it’s a trick question, I would be surprised if you only had just one! Perhaps the one that makes you #happiest and feel you have to #dance, even if you are an old #Panda like me? Randomly picking mine, this is the happiest #song of all time: #DontStopMeNow Happy #Sunday! https://youtu.be/HgzGwKwLmgM

#TraitorTrump keeps saying insane shit.
If that monster manages to get to win in 2024, World needs to start considering the possibility of naming #USA as a terrorist state.

Good morning Trekverse happy weekend to you all! Hope it's a good one for you whatever you are up to 🖖

Today marks 3 months on #Mastodon. The most delightful aspect for me is our high community engagement.

On #Twitter I suspect my posts got buried. A journalist reached out last Fall to ask why I was shadow banned & I had to search what that meant.

This place isn’t set up as a race for RTs & likes & posts aren’t typically composed to spark outrage. It feels like an ongoing conversation & I’m even getting to know some interesting new folks.

At least, that’s been my experience. I like it here.

Nightly address by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of #Ukraine 28/01/23

Extract
Ukraine needs long-range missiles – in particular, to remove this possibility of the occupiers to place their missile launchers somewhere far from the front line and destroy Ukrainian cities with them.

Thank you to everyone in the world – politicians, public figures, journalists, and ordinary people who insist with us that there cannot be any taboo in the supply of weapons
