Forcing women to give birth against their will is “big government.” Protecting an 88-year-old program like Social Security isn’t. Whether you agree with Biden on the fine points, it’s obvious that he’s trying to save rational, democratic government from the ongoing fascist assault. That’s why it’s so disheartening to see the Times adopt the cynical framing of the fascists, as this headline does.

There are some really kind people here, that constantly make me go to someone I love and say "look at what this person said about my song, that's so wonderful and kind..." and smile a lot. It's not an easy time for me, so I just want you all to know your support means a lot to me. Thank you ❤️

Took the dog for a walk this morning.

Every so often, patience is rewarded. For 30 minutes I watched this tricolored heron fishing in a canal. He would be very still, tense up, then take wing & pounce on the fish. He then ventured down by a reflection of a yellow blossomed tree and I captured him in a ‘dance’ above the water.
