I used to have a large patio umbrella and then one day a wind storm came through and blew it away and I no longer had an umbrella.

I have no idea where it went, but I can’t stop picturing some random person who got impaled by that patio umbrella and I’m still upset that their family never gave it back.

A new instance so I'd better do a new #introduction

I'm a photographer based in the south west of England. My practice focuses around landscapes with a particular emphasis on a sense of place and loss of identity.

Before all this I was an aid worker working in areas of conflict for about 20 years.

I'm generally interested in most art forms, literature, history and tech (though I have no understanding of the subject). I run, trek and wild camp.
