I, a lowly adjunct, just publicly called out a tenured professor for using a student’s work (a tutorial she made) as the basis of a project in his class, without any mention of her.

You’re right. I’ve used Google & Alexa too. Alexa drove me nuts with “by the way…” all the time.

Today, when I ask Siri on HomePod to control my thermostat or turn on lights:
Siri: It looks like you haven’t setup any HomeKit accessories…”

This past week I helped fix some inclusive language at work and someone thanked me saying they didn’t keep up with the current preferred language.

I told them that they didn’t need to because they brought a trans person to the table and it was satisfying to see that idea sink in.

I had a zoom appointment with someone scheduled today & they did not show up. I cannot emphasize enough how much this fucks up the day for someone with ADHD. The entire morning was spent mentally preparing for this meeting so I got nothing else done and now I'm out of sorts in the aftermath. Basically my schedule for the day got fucked up and it's hard to just readjust. IYKYK If you can't make a meeting, CANCEL IT in a reasonable timeframe please!
