I've made the decision I am going to post here more frequently than the "every few days" frequency I've been at, so this may be your cue to either get on board if you're not already, or depart, depending on how much of me you want in your feed.

I don’t need my daughter asking me if a mass shooter is going to go into her school to try to kill her, her classmates & her teacher.

I was speechless yesterday, all we could say was, hopefully it won’t happen.

Mass shootings are having a harmful effect on our kids mental health.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) apprehended a border guard from the Chernihiv border guard detachment who attempted to pass on information to the Russian Federation regarding the defense of Ukraine's northern borders. The occupiers were particularly interested in the combat orders and the plan of action for the engineering and technical setup of the state border.

The fight is on.

I was sitting outside drinking my coffee and enduring the constant nudging of Charlie and the irritating bark of Ben - they wanted to go for their walk, I took what should have been a bunch of good photographs of birds moving around the feeders. But as usual in the morning I forgot to check my camera settings which were set for shooting the moon last night.

On of the scenes I witnessed was these two pigeons fighting. They were pecking at each other very forcefully. Most of the photos had blurred movements but this one somehow came out okay. I'm pretty sure they're both male pigeons.

I said I'd logged off for the night but I'm logging back on to share the news that in less than 12 hours we hit $100,000 to support the Texas Observer team. We continue to seek larger donors, grants & benefactors that will help us sustain the publication long term.

The French Defense Minister has announced that France intends to increase the monthly supply of 155-mm shells to Ukraine to 2,000 by the end of March. Additionally, France will be providing Ukraine with SAMP/T air defense systems in the near future.

I didn't see this "interview" nor would I ever watch Faux, but I'm willing to bet he didn't say 'exculpatory' without mangling it, and somebody else told him that word and explained it to him.

I don't even care if it's a scam. Just the thought that the widow of an exiled Nigerian prince took the time to write me a personal message has really made my day.
