What the fucking fuck? The QAnon Shaman is being released waaaaay ahead of his 41-month sentence for trying to overthrow the damned government. This is white-man justice.

βοΈπ Good morning. The serene awakening of your smile brings magic to this day. I have a surprise for you. I've prepared you a warm and delicious coffee, accompanied by freshly glazed pastries with sweet strawberry coulis. Thank you for passing by today. I wish you a day filled with smiles and blessings. Thank you for being part of this world; Thank you for being you. π

I remember when Aaron Swartz was criminally prosecuted for downloading too many academic journal articles, but, sure, it's totally cool to scrape everyone's personal photographs as part of a commercial effort to market discriminatory surveillance tech to police departments.
Peter Beinart is absolutely right. One of the biggest reasons the political left is weak in the US is that many of us on the left choose to tear away at each other across lines that divide us, rather than making common cause and turning our critical focus towards those who really deserve that focus, those setting us against each other from the top of the economic ladder.
The lack of solidarity of many on the left in US, and the insistence on purism tests: so politically dumb.

@DaveMWilburn It infuriates me just seeing people refer to Russia-Ukraine War as βcrisisβ or βconflictβ. Itβs hard to view it as anything other than a transparent attempt to downplay the deaths and suffering of tens of thousands.
I propose that all major #tech companies stop developing new software features & new hardware for a full year. And then spend that year fixing the shit theyβve already released so it actually works properly.

Many people asking us about #bumblebees at the moment - why theyβre seeing them on the ground - so what follows is a quick series of toots to explain what theyβre up to. Please #boost as every #queen bumblebee that survives means a new colony that gets to exist and produce new queen bees for next year! 1/8

So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.
