I have an ask of each of you.

Saturday morning I suddely collapsed and lost consciousness.  I apparently experienced sudden cardiac arrest.

We don't know why yet.  I didn't have a heart attack, stroke, or pulmonary embolus, and I don't have cardiomyopathy, heart failure, or any known heart disease.

I tell you this because you never know when someone's life depends on you.

My ask:  get #CPR trained and stay current with training.

Pain changes pain.

The typical American work week has five (5) days. That’s five (5) opportunities to have chimichangas for lunch. Don’t squander those opportunities.

Once again, I'm reminded of how much the billionaire space race has absolutely destroyed my love of rockets.

10 years ago, I definitely would have been paying close attention to the current giant SpaceX launch. But because I know it's going to be used to launch hundreds of unregulated, unsafe, polluting, for-profit Starlink satellites at once, I just can't look.

Instead of being excited and awestruck by a new gigantic rocket launch, it just makes me want to puke.

Yeah, I like some of Bernie Sanders ideas as I consider he and Warren in the same camp on a lot of ideas. I resented a lot of his followers who couldn’t accept the fact he didn’t get the nomination in 2016 and either didn’t vote or voted 3rd party. Gotta work with what you have. Do i like everything Biden does or doesn’t do? Hell no. Why would you agree with ANYONE 100% of the time, especially a politician. I suppose if some people can’t accept that feel free to block or unfollow as someone just did. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not gonna break my heart.

I grew up in a rural part of the country. I understand them, because I lived among them in the trailer parks. They believe they're temporarily embarrassed millionaires, and if only "those people" weren't cutting ahead of them in line, they'd be rich. They believe that their government assistance checks are because of genuine need, but everyone else is a fraud and "taker."

It's a level of magical thinking that truly boggles my mind.

I refer to my move away from where I grew up as an escape ... and for good reason.

The scandal is far bigger than we thought. Just how deep does the rot with Justice Thomas go? And what historical precedent is there for how to deal with it? There have been more mass shootings than days in 2023.

As of now, there have been at least 162 mass shootings in the U.S., according to the Gun Violence Archive. There have only been 107 days so far this year.

We don’t have to keep living like this. Inaction is a choice.

If I tell you this summer will be the summer of dying from the heat of the day. in homes, on streets, uou might think its a problem of the poor hot countries.

Canada, the polar nation had the first mass deaths from heat two years ago. 619 died, seniors and teens, on their floors, on their beds.
