My first self-published adventure for Goblyn Market is now available on both itch.io https://paroxysm-by-design.itch.io/a-stirring-of-eddies AND rpgdrivethru https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/437552/A-Stirring-of-Eddies
A Stirring of Eddies
"The Empress of Night has conscripted loyal courtesans to scour every nook and cranny of this lawless rock in order to uncover a traitorous Primacy within the Goblyn Market."
Part 1 of the Harbingers of the Wild Hunt trilogy.
@accretionist @Urban_Hermit @TonyStark @nus My governor is Gretchen Whitmer. I canβt take anyone seriously who doesnβt realize sheβs not spineless and so many other Democrats are also not. Roy Cooper of North Carolina, for another example, gave a very fiery statement on Saturday while vetoing the GOP anti-rights, anti-life, anti-abortion bill. MSNBC aired jt. I think it was during Capehart or Velshi because otherwise I wouldnβt see it. No other coverage.

Original description, translated from Ukrainian: "Trolling of the highest level: in Germany, supporters of Russia marched to clown music
In the German city of Hera, a group of far-right decided to take to the streets for a parade in support of Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Local residents reacted very gracefully, turning this move into a circus performance ."
The latest expose from the BBC is irresponsible and could actually do more harm than good.
@ScottSoCal At one point some time ago, we considered that; his family won't allow me to live with them, so we would have to split up. And one of his parents is allergic to our dog, so I would have to find some place to stay with a hyperactive, obese border collie.
New College students holding their own graduation ceremony with lawyer and civil rights activist Maya Wiley, instead of the official commencement staged by Republican Party apparatchiks.
Wondering if anyone has any ideas to help me!
We're getting a fence and gate installed in the backyard soonish. I want to be able to lock it with a padlock so the dogs can be loose and I don't have to worry about strangers opening the gate. I am very very bad at numbers so I don't want the traditional number code padlock. (I think I have dyscalculia). I also don't want to have to remember to bring a key with me. Are there other options out there?
Have you read my #ActuallyAutistic travel blog?

Oof #today was just one long list of doing stuff that I'd not planned to do, mostly tech support for my father.
His computer monitor was actually whistling! Not that he noticed, his hearing's not that great.
But we had a very civilised tea on the stoep with all the dogs and cats in attendance, so that's OK.
Tomorrow I'll catch up with everything I was supposed to do today...
since a lot of folks are becoming newly interested in escaping corporate silos and moving to community-based services, are you aware of @matrix?
Matrix is to Slack and Discord, what Mastodon is to Twitter: a decentralized, federated network based on open standards/specs. It also supports full end-to-end encryption, just like Signal, so you can exchange messages privately!
If you find the fediverse interesting/inspiring, I recommend giving matrix a whirl. The quickest way to get started is to head over to https://app.element.io/ and make a (free!) account (although you can also join any number of other home servers, or host your own--they all talk to each other!).
If you _do_ end up checking it out, please do say hi! I'm @zkat:zkat.tech over there. I also manage a "space" (a group of channels, kinda like a Discord server) that you can join by clicking here: https://matrix.to/#/!tKdDSgQTxQzcOuTXqV:matrix.org?via=zkat.tech&via=matrix.org&via=envs.net
I hope this sparks your interest! I'd love to see you over there, too!
So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.
