Sea drones attacked a Russian reconnaissance ship. Russian ministry of defense confrimed this information.
Russia reported that all unmanned boats were destroyed, the ship continued to function.
However, some sources say that although two drones were destroyed, the third one managed to damage the ship.
Russian Black Sea Fleet probably won't feel safe in the Black Sea anymore.

My cooking challenge for 2023 has been to reduce the amount of dish-washing required for any particular meal, without compromising nutrition too much. For some reason celebrity cookery books seem to skirt this type of topic :)
He had a meltdown. First the car, then the charger, and now I'm pushing him to get the rate information. Why didn't I involve him in any of this?
Because he agonizes, and can't make a decision. He drags it out until forced into a decision by timing, and then he grumbles about it when he makes the decision I knew he was going to make all along. Let's skip all that and just get to the end.
Hubs is not happy. But he likes the car I bought him.

I'm totally in my element, and hubs is feeling railroaded. Another day in my life.
We've talked about an EV for months, we've looked, I knew what he likes. So I bought him one last week. Yesterday I got the plug installed and ordered the charger for the garage - delivered tomorrow. This morning I told him I need the details on the power rate plan we're on; what rates are charged at which time of day.

The son looks up and smiles with a bit of anxiety in his voice. "Thanks, Dad. I really hope so."
The old man pulls out a small book from his back pocket and hands it to his son. "Now that you're a parent, I'd like you to have this. I studied it for the first year of your life and memorised every single one. I'd love you to use it for my grandson."
The son looks at the cover which is titled 1000 Dad Jokes To Annoy Your Children. He looks up with tears in his eyes. "Dad...I'm honoured."
His dad smiles: "Hello, Honoured. I'm Dad."

Electricians here installing a place to plug in my EV for charging at home, and the internet shuts down. They were all nervous until I'd done some checking. The fiber optic is down, so unless they got into a whole different box than the power (they didn't), it's not them.

Or it's exactly as FDR said: it's not enough for everyone to get a Square (ie, fair) Deal, as his uncle Teddy wanted. At some point one person has all the good cards, and it's time to reshuffle the deck and have a New Deal to allow everyone to start from scratch.
