I love (actually hate) how folks are like "Oh, so many changes these days! All these words used to be okay, and now they aren't! So new!"

Those words were never "okay" they were coined by individuals and governments engaged in slavery and colonization. The words were racist back then, they didn't "become" racist between then and now just because you learned a fact.

Kushner pushed his way into a job in his father-in-law’s administration with no experience.
Kushner prioritized pushing out the Secretary of State in order to “cozy up” to the Saudi Government.
There are records of a $110 billion arms deal between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia that was inflated at the direction of Kushner.
Months after Kushner’s departure from the White House, the Saudi crown prince overruled his own investment advisors and sent $2 billion into Kushner's companies' bank account.

I often forget how some cyber habits I have can upset people. This happened today:

Colleague - You're going to [vendor name] event in [USA place] next month. They really should give us lighter notebooks for these trips. How will you take your work PC with you?
Me - I don't. There are sensitive apps and info there. I can lose it. Also, border controls could happen. No way.
Colleague - Huh, so... what will you do?
Me - I use a spare 13" low-end notebook with a fresh linux install, no personal data, no company data. It's light and now it's worth just a few euros.
Colleague - Hah, there's your smartphone anyway!
Me - No way either. Spare Nokia dumbish-phone. The most advanced thing on it is Snake. Maybe.
