theres a quake mod that adds a hammer that lets you do like, hammer jumps (like rocket jumps, but u hit the ground with the hammer)
they called it bonk jam and i just want to suggest that instead it should have been called "getting over it with john romero"

@ben @efi The Crew is an interesting case to me. It came out on December 2, 2014 and the servers were shut down on March 31st, 2024. That's over 9 years since release, with the shutdown announced 3 months prior.
There were barely any players remaining on the OG game's servers, likely because they moved on to one of the sequels: The Crew 2 in 2018 and Motorfest in 2023. Every online-only game is bound to end someday and not every game can work offline. The preservation would be nice, however.

added a final obstacle-layout type to let me get to my campaign-mode target of 24 tracks: three pylons in a little row, so you have to do a "thread the needle" maneuver to get past them cleanly

This wild day just got wilder! 😲
Here’s what the judge wrote:
After having carefully considered and weighed the witness testimony and evidence, the court reaches the following conclusion: Google is a monopolist, and it has acted as one to maintain its monopoly. It has violated Section 2 of the Sherman Act.
This ruling won’t just affect Google but also Apple, Amazon, Meta, and every other Big Tech company that the DOJ is going after!
Let me be blunt. After decades of not doing anything about tech monopolies, the U.S. government just showed it is not playing games!
