They finally cracked the Mayan calendar, and the reason they couldn't before is that the 819 days of the calendar have to be viewed across a 45-year time period to fully understand. 🤯

For my current game I want a bigger map than what #pico8 offers, so now I'm deep in the rabbit hole making my own editor with layers, doorways, and all sorts of things. 😅 When saving it is compressed and stored in the game cart where it is uncompressed when needed

One more #picotron data format for the road. pods are used to represent any structured data, and used by the clipboard, disk storage (each file is a pod), as rich text, and as inter-process messages. Don't know if I want to display pictures in the code editor [by default] though!
